1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using britpickgames.com ("the Platform", "BritPickGames", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Age Restriction

BritPickGames is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 years or older. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to refuse access to any individual we reasonably believe to be under 18 years of age.

3. Nature of the Platform

BritPickGames is a social entertainment platform. All games on the Platform are played exclusively using BritCoins, a fictitious virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. Specifically:

  • BritCoins cannot be purchased, sold, or traded for real money
  • BritCoins have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for prizes, goods, or services
  • No real-money transactions are available on or through the Platform
  • Winning or losing BritCoins does not result in any financial gain or loss
  • BritPickGames does not constitute gambling, betting, or any form of financial service

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
  • Use the Platform in any way that may harm, overburden, or impair its operation
  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without written permission
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to design, text, graphics, game logic, and branding, is owned by or licensed to BritPickGames. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our intellectual property other than as expressly provided.

6. User Data & Local Storage

BritPickGames does not require user accounts and does not collect personal data in the traditional sense. Game progress and BritCoin balances are stored locally in your browser. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Your use of the Platform is at your sole risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BritPickGames shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed £100.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Platform at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
